Matters needing attention in anaerobic adhesives
① Anaerobic adhesive can not be used in metal, glass and other airtight containers, and need to air permeability (low-density polyethylene) in the container, and can only install 2/3 bottles. ② anaerobic adhesive should be stored in a cool, dry place, not exposure. ③ is suitable for bonding between metals, and is unsuitable for porous materials such as plastics, wood and paper. For iron and steel, copper and its alloys and other active metal surface bonding curing fast, high strength. For stainless steel, zinc, cadmium and other metal surface curing slow, low strength. Anaerobic adhesives cause stress cracks in some plastics, including many thermoplastics, such as ABS plastic and polycarbonate. If the binder is used for metal assembly, and the Assembly is very close to the plastic parts, the overflow of the adhesive liquid or the dispersed vapor may affect the plastic parts. If it is compatible with plastics, anaerobic adhesives are not the best products to effectively lock and seal such plastics. In this case, the cyanide-acrylate adhesive is often used, provided that such adhesives reach other application parameters. ④ curing conditions must meet the following two conditions: isolating oxygen, the gap generally requires <0.2mm, Activity Initiation Center, such as metal, promoter.
When the ⑤ is removed, if the adhesion relay is too large, the parts can be heated to 200~300℃ hot and disassembled, and can be removed after a long time after soaking in the anaerobic adhesive special scavenger or acetone.
